What’s the difference between a massage therapist and a registered massage therapist?
The latter is a certified healthcare professional with extensive hours of training, study, and examinations behind them. The registration means they are regulated by a governing body, the College of Massage Therapists, and may provide individuals that they treat with a receipt for reimbursement for health insurance purposes.
